Peebles v Broomieknowe match report

After the terrible wet weather conditions of Wednesday and with more rain promised today towards midday it was a worried group of golfers who gathered at a very early hour of 8.15 at Broomieknowe. However thankfully the wet weather never materialised and everybody got round dry. The course was in very good condition with the condition of the greens being exceptional despite being a bit faster than Peebles. The caterers looked after us well and everybody enjoyed the company of their playing partners as well as the course. Results - Match 1 all square, Match Peebles won 2&1, Match 3 Peebles lost 5&3, Match 4 Peebles lost 3&2, Match 5 Peebles lost 4&3, Match 6 Peebles won 1up. Overall Broomieknowe 3.5 Peebles 2.5.
